Just wondering if my current aircraft skins, created with much labour over the past few years, will still work with the forthcoming graphics upgrade, which will support 4K skins?
If not, is there an easy way to convert 2K skins to 4K ones?
Thanks!

Upscaling from 2k to 4k by just increasing the image will not work. I believe there are programs out there that help but are not perfect if that is the route you go if you want to go 4k. Best way to create anything is to create them at the highest possible resolution the first time. Substance Painter allows you to move between whatever resolutions you want whenever you want but it isn't free.
Many thanks for the replies chaps - much appreciated!
As I will be using VR a lot with the new version of CLoD I'm not too concerned if my old skins don't look as good as if they were 4K, since I guess it will be years before VR will be able to do justice to 4K skins.
Also here's hoping that some of our amazing skinners will soon be publishing some nice 4K skins for us to download!
