Where is everyone?

Because we had some major water damage to our house last year, (the Texas Big Freeze) I didn’t fly again until about six months ago. Things have changed. I get into the ATAG home page, and I see nobody flying. The same for Multiplayer. I’m told the demise of Danger Dogs was the cause, but I don’t understand what the connection is. Where are all of the other Squadrons? Did they all disband? Did they move to a different flight sim? Surely not BOX.

Hi Slag......Dawson is bang on. I can't remember the number of times I've jumped on an empty Axis v Allies server. Next minute, I'm fighting for my life because Noofy, Revell, Pizza and Gatto Pardo have all joined just to shoot me down! Ha ha! Anyone would think they didn't like me! Ha ha!

I am on holiday at the moment so am gutted that I can't fly 'Operation London Bridge' tonight but maybe you are free to join in.
There will be a lot of pilots flying and it's bound to be a huge blast! One word of warning.......try NOT to spawn next to ATAG_Highseas!!!!!! Have fun! Salute

Thanks for the pep talk. I plan on keeping logging in.

But, I am still waiting for someone to tell me why things have changed. There seems to be no “life” in CLOD anymore. It used to be you could log in and find some action almost any time of day. At this moment, nobody is logged into ATAG. The only action I have found is 3-4 guys on regularly about 7pm cst. Where is everyone else? It is very disappointing.

I barely get time to even post here, let alone fly. Business building pretty much stole my wings.



We did a Rag Tags catch up a while back... nobody on axis allies....

but me being me insisted we meet up on the ATAG server... all 5 of us.


30 minutes in there were 15 on.

when we left there were over 50



If you want ot populate a server....

With regards to populating the servers, people are somewhere out there.
Scheduled events have consistently gathered 80+ people lately.
Otherwise, getting on a server will most often get people to follow, albeit not in large quantities.
I agree it might be boring to be the first one in if you are a hunter and there are no AIs to shoot at.
Also there now are much more interesting single player campaigns added, so pilots are probably "distracted" by these at the time...

It was me... and a bunch of guys who turned up... to an ad-hock screwaround sky party.

Artist and DerDa turned up with a whole background music station!




That first Highseas Tour was lead buy a guy who still didn't know his propeller from that spinny thingy in front which was messing up the view ahead.

(I thnik its called the windscreen whirlygig.)
