    Good to see the site back - though I'm not

    After a second repair attempt to solve lingering issues my Asus laptop is pronounced dead. Apparently I'll get a repair refund so that takes a bit of the sting out.
    Now to see how/where/what I'm going to replace it with. It will be my 1st tower since the 90's. No idea where to start and a questionable budget.

    Yay, Daz....good to hear from you! The air waves have been noticeably quieter in the run up to Christmas! We need you back!

    So.......I would say out of habit...'Start at Eastchurch! It's safer!' But that's probably not going to help! Hopefully, somebody who has just bought some gear will 'pop on' and help you out.

    In the meantime......hang in there and stay in touch! Salute!

    Many completed builds with your brand preference, requirements, budget etc. I built mine using that site, saves time, compatibility between components errors and most importantly, you know what the costs for each are.
