Hi Guys, just watched this excellent documentary on the history of the Spitfire. It's about an hour and thirty minutes long with comments made by many of the WWII pilots who flew them, that were still alive at the time of it's filming. Definitely worth the time to watch, if you have it.

This film had an initial cinema 1 day showing around the UK. I was in London visiting Hendon, Uxbridge etc so I booked seats at a lovely old art deco cinema in Notting Hill. We walked through London that day to the BoB and Bomber Command monuments etc ending up at the cinema. It was fab to see/hear the film in that setting. Quite moving too that within weeks around the films' release all veterans featured had passed. Geoffrey Wellum had such an emotive way of talking. Loved his book and subsequent BBC film.
