21:00 CEST (Central European Summer time)
    Etc.

    Confirm?
    It's correct!

    Thanks Polak 8~)

I'm all good w/- TS3, had a brief chat with ATAG_Blacknight & managed to get into the ATAG server for a quick sortie last night.

Got the Blenheim rolling ok, but a couple of failed t/o attempts cos I have _no_ familiarity with Wilmington (where's that confounded bridge..?!).

What I have singularly failed to achieve offline is finding Winchester after t/o from Worthy Down - both my elder siblings were born in the married quarters at the NAS there, me just up the road (Taylor's Caravan Park, Sutton Scotney).

    I'm part gypsy, y'know *grin*
What did you do in the war, daddy? How did you help us to win?

Circuits 'n' bumps 'n' turns, laddie, and how to come out of a spin..

Yes this is correct. GMT is the old name for UTC (also known as Zulu time).

Re: Bf110 raid over England 15th April 2023 1900 GMT

    Great fun yesterday

Big thanks to the organizers and to the participants.

Took off from Rely in a Ju88 among the Bf110s.
It was clear I could not keep up with the pace with my full load, so decided I would go lonely on the deck, on a long detour away from the crowd.
After several minutes of cruising over water heading west, minding my own business, I see a single contact taking off from Wilmington. That was Faf956 in his Beaufighter.
No luck, he spotted me and naturally turned towards me.
No escort, just the two of us. So I jump into my rear gunner, and in the end we both killed each other.
I then switched back to the good old G.50 and escorted the Bf110s on their second round to Rochester.
A few encounters with Spits on the way. A little rusted but score a few victories until the final dogfight against three Spits over the Thames estuary. What happened to Chivalry?...

Anyway, great fun. Looking forward to the next edition

    Sir!

Late thanks from me, too! A week earlier I flew the Heinkel 111 with torpedos, spent 40 minutes to find the convoy, launched a torpedo and got shot down. I swam home. Last saturday (April the 15:th) I took off with Junkers Ju 88, wearing a bathing suit. I made it to 1/3 way to Rouchester before I got swimming again. But, this time, so got the Spitfire-jockey as well.

Mister Polak, I like swimming! I remain waiting for the next one!

Ha haaaaaaaggggghhhhhhhhh! Good old Mr Walstein! Please DO NOT post a picture of you in your swimming suit! I don't think the server will take it!

If you are 'late' Mr Walstein....I am 'later'...which only goes to prove you must have been.......... 'early!' Ha ha!

Big congrats to Mr Polak and the other organisers of last Saturday's Event! It was great fun and I, too, hope I can take part in the next one! Unfortunately, I lost Team Speak connection and since this is normally followed by a loss of connection to the Server I quickly landed at Hawkinge and restarted the game from scratch. However, the Server was convinced I was still in the server...and my name was listed amongst the players. So, in the end I had to switch everything off for 15 minutes before starting again. By that time, the Blues had succeeded in many 'dastardly deeds' and though we remaining Red's gallantly, nay...... bravely....... fought on, it was a tough sortie.
I mean..... Amarok shot me down TWICE!!!!! What's that all about?

Ha ha! Well done, Amarok! A very skilled 109 driver!

One thing I noticed....those good old Spitfire 1a's are a much better match to the 109 E's. I found I could, once more, out turn them, though not out climb them. I also could out run them with boost on and radiator closed! This allowed for some really competitive air battles where I suspect the individual pilot and the dynamics of 'the bounce' made all the difference. Good fun! Bring on the next! Salute!

So grounded by 'technical issues' right when the pressure was on.

    Hmm.

Thanks you all for your messages.

It is a pleasure for me to organize this kind of event and it is up to me to thanks you for having participated.

I hope you enjoyed it and that you want more.

The next 3 missions are already ready. They are in the hands of members of the Atag community to verify that all will work correctly.

Again a big thank to them for helping us and welcoming us on their server and especially Atag Snapper and Atag Oskar.

Stay tunned briefing will come soon.
