We’re fortunate to have a lot of Aussie chaps here. Feel free to look around and ask any questions that come to mind.
Cheers!

k - first solo w/o incident; seem to be running pretty well, fps much better than I'd hoped.
Still a bit unsure re AA settings, I've sniffed around but finding mostly threads that are a bit dated; tried a few combinations in-game & via nv cpl but my antenna wires are still pretty jaggy. Added some of the tips in Lewis' post (Oct. '14?) re the [Core] section in conf.ini, wondered if I was getting optimistic with trial settings but no issues & everything else looks damn' good - a little bit in awe of how much performance has improved, since initial release, tho' I've upgraded both cpu & gpu since then.
Is there a 'bible' on conf*.ini tweaking? Would still like to improve those wires if I can.
.. and is there a brick-friendly* server that doesn't want DWT installed? Had a quick look, but it didn't seem promising.
cheers!
*As an aspiring combat fighter pilot, my instructor once suggested that, some day, I might make a half-decent W/AG.. *sigh*

Hi E.G.,
The ATAG Axis vs Allies Public Server usually runs Blitz missions, although it can run DWT missions. This Saturday’s event (Sat April 15 1900 GMT) is a Blitz event - all welcome.

Noted - with no small degree of fear and trepidation!
I'd actually asked 'cos I spotted Oskar's No. 406 Squadron badge & my google-fu told me they flew Blenheims, early in their history.
I could have used some Blenheim-fu last night - had all sorts o' trouble getting the motors running at times (cold? too much throttle? likely the latter..).
Looking at your avatar, Amarok, I think the 109 is a good choice.
If you chose the Condor, or the Falco, the feathers would get stuck in your frap-hat.. *grin*
cheers!
