Unfortunately family commitments mean can’t make event this Saturday evening.

Away up to London which sounds safe if you guys are heading over Southampton.

    For a change?

I remember......about seven or so years ago, when I first started flying Cliffs with the Rag Tags, good old Lewis, Dave and Monkeynut........the indomitable Bondi used to fly Red. And a Hurricane too!

Back in those days, us 'green' Red Pilots used to feel considerably safer than we do today because we knew that Bondi would be high above us, ready to dive down on any unsuspecting Blue pilot who strayed within his range.

Bondi was The Lone Ranger.......a real lone wolf......silent and deadly, pulling off incredible stunts in a Hurricane! An aircraft that many of us believed was inferior to the Spitfire 1's and II's that the rest of us flew! Definitely a case of 'the pilot......not the machine!'
At the time, I was convinced that Bondi could have achieved his kills with just a box kite if Buzzsaw had supplied one!

Now, the tables have turned and no self respecting, innocent.......gallant........Red pilot is safe. Bondi has turned Blue and every Red Pilot chasing Amarok, Noofy and Polak has to keep one eye out front and the other high in the sky.......ready for 'The Lone Ranger,'............now flying for the Dark Side!

Definitely adds more fun to the sim, though! Go Bondi!

So sorry I missed another event last night. Being a Grandparent is a full time job these days! We have one set of Grandkiddliwinks down south and another set up north. That's where I am presently, giving my eldest son the opportunity to take his wife out for a Birthday trip to the Lakes. Just got be done!

Back home....and back to Bondi-spotting......tomorrow. Keep the Events coming Mr Polak. I'm hoping I'll make the next one! Salute!

Ahh. Giving someone the opportunity to take a trip to the Lakes is just about the nicest present you can give a person in England. See you next week! (Please use tracers in your loadout.)

Love that Aussie paint job, Cyber!

Had a great time - lots of action, both AI and human pilots.

We had issues at Westhampnett with Spitfires spawning in the woods and blowing up, plus several dozens of static aircraft parked all over the airfield. I successfully spawned in and took off in Spits from there a number of times, until my turn came up. Five spawns on a row had my Spit tossed unceremoniously in the air amongst the perimeter trees - and even sinking into a stream.

I had a quick conference with the Team Fusion chaps and it looks like this situation has been addressed at this and other airfields in a future release.

Thanks to Polak and his intrepid OBT team for a great event!

    Fabulous event!

I went up in a Hurricane from Tangmere as I said I would, and eventually got attacked over Southampton by a 109 and had to dive away as he had position and energy.
But I was flying with half my undercarriage down and going sideways as a result, which spoiled both his aim and my own...

Thanks OBT-Polak, TFS, ATAG & all Pilots!

Thank's again Polak and all players for this event.

Two run, the first on BF 110 with the OBT Team over Southampton, very intense, we survive with help of the formidable escort !

The second run with Polak and Noofy, leader of 3 JU88. We bombed Ford airfield but we die .....
Thank's Noofy for this lesson on Ju 88 A1, a plane to be known and play !

Thank you all for your participation.

TFS and ATAG for welcoming us, especially ATAG Oskar and Snapper for all the work I give them to launch my mission.

Good mission for us too, we were able to drop our bombs on the objective.

Well done to the escort who was present in number,

We were attacked by RAF pilots at low altitude on Southampton water after the dropping of our bombs.

Many escort pilots sacrificed themselves to allow us to return, 4 out of 6 OBTs engaged were able to return to the base, including me on an engine from the Isle of Wight. Well played everyone.

Great fun for me and I hope for a maximum of red and blue pilots.

To do again as soon as possible,

Do not hesitate to provide information on what you disliked and what you want for the next missions, it will help to create events that interest the greatest number.

    OBT~Polak.

There were spawning issues on Westhampnett Airfield apparently.

Have you had the same problems at other airfields?
