Jumping image in SP Single Missions.

RAF-Buzzsaw kindly suggested I post in this forum section.

HELP please.!! I'm not new to this Sim and I hope this is the right section to post my difficulty.
I have encountered a HUGE problem with the Single Player Single Missions. They all used to run smoothly.

Now, however, Single Missions have a jumping image (cockpit and external views change every second to second and a half) making playing impossible even with Autopilot on. No pilot control at all.
Everything else in Single Player, campaigns, quick missions - no problems. Singles Missions cannot be flown. Any ideas on how to resolve this please?

I have tried many vanilla re-installs after deleting or moving to separate hard drives, all CloD Files and Folders. Still no joy.

My PC is not new either but runs perfectly well on everything. This Single Mission dilemma is my only irresolute bugbear.

I am away from my gaming pc for a few days but will look into. Can you provide a little more detail about what you are seeing and what settings you are using?

Did you try deleting the "my documents/1C SoftClub" folder?
Reinstalling does not touch that folder.

Also, do you use trackIR or something similar? if so, try uninstalling it too.

Yes I've done all that deleteing including the "my documents/1C SoftClub" folder. I've not deleted Track IR because it works perfectly well everywhere except the Single Missions folder. Also it's not necessarily every mission. I need now to go through them all to see where it all works well. I'll let you know. Thanks for the call back.

Hi Lenny I'll get a couple of screenshots of the settings and upload them. If I can record a video of an example I'll upload that too.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Jumping image in SP Single Missions.

Given it only happens in single missions, is it possible the realism options are different for all other mission types, i.e. single missions are overriding your general settings?

For example, if you had cockpit views only set in realism options but the single missions default to allowing it.

If so then you could have a control binding issue that is flitting between cockpit and external views.

It maybe worth checking your general realism settings, then looking at realism settings under custom for the selected single mission.

    Good suggestion.

Could also look up the key config file and find what is mapped to those views then ctrl+f for it elsewhere in the document?

Thanks Baldrick and Yo-Yo . Those are good suggestions and I will get round to checking them out. Must admit I hadn't thought of that as I usually just set Realism Options in the Main Screen.
Cheers . I'll let you know how I get on.

I see in your sig you have a CH throttle quadrant, I had (still have actually just not using currently) one of those and it would spike a lot (I got it second hand). Maybe you have a view inadvertantly set for the 'button' that gets triggered by the slider being at the bottom of the range. I'd defo look at the CH throttle quadrant mappings first if looking for a guilty party that might be doing something amiss.
