    First quick debriefing:

    8:40 am in the game.

I count 30 victories for the blues and 30 victories for the reds...
(Maybe your eyes will be better than mine)

The rest of the battle promises to be epic.

Stay all tuned briefing for mission#2 coming soon...

    It begins like this...

    Hampshire and west Sussex sector

    August 13, 1940.

    11.45 in the morning.

Comrades as you know the final offensive over England has begun!

    Today is the Adlerangriff!!!

Awesome Polak thanks a lot for the effort!

It looks a lot more balanced than it did during the event which is perfectly in line with the asymmetric nature of the battle.

I have to congratulate you on how you balanced the mission. Asymmetric battles are the toughest to balance and you guys did an amazing job

I can't wait for the next one

Thanks for the summary. Any ideas of what mission targets were destroyed? I imagine from your previous posts that since there are no scripts in place there was no damage tracking...

Regarding the equal number of machines lost, I'd say the RAF had the better outcome in this. Outnumbered and most of the blue losses must have been bombers, so way more aircrews lost. And usually the RAF pilots that bailed out and survived could be more easily rescued.

Sorry I clicked don't like by mistake,

I'm going to try this evening to look at the destroyed ground targets and I would also add the planes which were destroyed on the ground by Luftwaffe raids, I think there were a lot.

    Debriefing for ground objectives.

The Do 17 raid attacked Eastchurch airfield and the Sheerness dockyards.
Both targets were hit and seriously damaged.

At Eastchurch a hangar and numerous fuel tanks as well as six Spitfires and two Blenheims destroyed on the ground.
The runway is damaged but can be put back into service quickly.

    shot_20231012_230639.jpeg

Sheerness docks are 70 percent destroyed.

    shot_20231012_231004.jpeg

The Dover radar station was attacked several times but suffered only slight damage.

    shot_20231012_230131.jpeg

The two tankers docked in the port of Dover as well as the fuel depot were destroyed.

Ashford Engine Oil Factory was bombed and seriously damaged more than 60 percent of it's destroyed.

The second main raid composed of Stukas aimed at the West mailing airfield, I was not able to recover the information on the damage they did... if anyone was able to take a screenshot

That is me bailing out of the Bf-110 C7… Thank you Marlow
And in my two raids on this port of Folkestone (not Dover) I got the fuel depot and three tankers (not two)…
    4 bombs, 4 targets, 100% satisfaction

We are going to replay part of the events concerning the Adlertag.
The campaign includes eight missions retracing the days of August 13, 14, 15 and 16, 1940.
A mission every two weeks, we will try different days of the week so that as many pilots as possible can participate.
I created the campaign to start out completely focused on fighters, with Luftwaffe pilots escorting bomber raids and RAF pilots trying to intercept them (Bomber raids are managed by the AI).
This will be the priority objective of each mission (fighter pilots in the briefing).
There will be at least two bomber raids per mission, the first for the pilots who will be connected from the launch of the server, a second raid a little later for the pilots who will have joined the server a little late.
I also added secondary objectives (Bomber pilots in the briefing) for pilots who wish to pilot bombers and only for the blue side because the RAF at this period was in a strictly defensive position.
For secondary objectives I will publish reconnaissance photos as quickly as possible.
No messages during the game if you destroy the objective...the pilots of the time did not have this luxury!
Make a track of your bombing and publish the photos of your bombings, for the reds I hope that Noofy will not publish too many photos...
And for the red side one and only one objective... SCRAMBLE!!!
All pilots must take off in their fighter and intercept the German bombers and their escort!
Everything won't be perfect of course but I hope you have a good time over the Channel and the south of England!!!
    Hi Polak,
In future missions (at least one of them) would it be possible to have high altitude air-spawn points for bomber pilots who wish to join the big formation? If we take off from the ground there is no way we can climb to 7500 meters in time to rejoin the AI formations… He-111 and/or Ju88 as appropriate?
    Merci

I think if the AI formation spawns about 20 minutes after the start of the mission it's a good thing, so players have time to join them by taking off from the ground normally.
We did this during the last mission with the Stuka AI formation.

Personally I'm not a fan of airspawns.
