    blow your mind

next time you think about simulation and how far we can go, reserve 20min of your life, turn your volume up, relax and imagine a space spitfire on that.

I wouldn't expect and engine like that on my lifetime

I think that game engine took them around 6 months of development and probably in the ball park of 100k dollars invested.

    Haha, good joke :-)

Rather 12 years (so far) and some hundreds of millions USD - including 60 of mine - and not yet finished.

Yeah it's a beautiful tech demo but unfortunately 12 years in development, over 600 million bucks cashed in and no release date just screams SCAM to me.

At this point they are probably making a lot more money releasing ships and selling them for 50-3000 dollars to chums than they would ever make by releasing the game.

When they'll release it I will definitely buy it but by that time I will probably be an ancient fossil, money will probably be abolished, the solar system will be colonized and our alien overlords will probably not allow us to play video games anymore
