It is scratching the surface of what the simulation is capable of Hawk.

Wait until the Lancaster is here.

Keep scratchin,' Vamps! I love to see these sort of pictures.

I'm still trying to totally figure out the Wellington bombsite at the moment. It didn't seem to behave as expected on Saturday night so I need to fly another Op to test it our again............... but I can certainly appreciate the work of others.

    I say.....keep going, Mate! Salute!

Here are some notes taken from Dawson's findings that seem to work:

Upon spawning into my Wellington at 16,400' (5000m mission setting) I set these flight setting:
    -Mode 22 on
    -Throttle 80%
    -Prop 80%
    -Supercharger high
    -Rad 50%

    Bomb setting:
-nine 500lbs bombs released in salvo
-bomb bay doors opened about 30 km from target
-target height above sea level is set. (100' in this case).

With these settings the plane will stabilize at about 14,700' and 176 mph IAS as I reproach target.

To address the short fall of the bombs I've added wind to the calculation of my no wind scenario. I add wind direction on the bombing computor that is the reciprocal of the true heading and wind speed equal to the difference between my IAS and the TAS at that altitude (~ 50 mph).

HP Omen Laptop 15, AMD Ryzen 5 5600H 16 GB DDR4 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU 6 GB VRAM Win 11 64 bit 22H2 (KB5020044), Nvidia GeForce Driver ver 527.56, TrackIR 5, Gear Falcon Trim Box, Gear Falcon Throttle Quadrant, TM16000 joystick, TM Warthog HOTAS, CH Quadrant, Saitek Pro Combat rudder pedals
    VR: None

On Saturday I mistakenly set my wind direction equal to my heading so my bombs probably dropped twice as short! Maybe next time...
