Actual BOB Spitfire / 109 combat caught on film

Popped into my FB feed, as it possibly has for others here. Still it's an interesting short clip of history on our collective favoured subject.

Great detective work by the historian.

One thing I notice... am I wrong or did they use CLIFFS for the video simulation sections?

Shall I ask them? It would be great to rope them into a tie in. Wingleader publishes some really cool stuff.

It's MSFS as it turns out. However, the story is not finished...

No way that this footage is from MSFS or CFSI, II. It's from CloD, see the typical "England SE swamps" of CloD in the background.

May be true, but I asked the creators of the video, and that is what they told me.

Maybe they're saying their reproduction of the 'original film' is from MSFS ?

It is obvious that the colour flight sim stuff is Clod.

I thought so too. But they insist didn't like the simple weather effects in the base game. I have since shown them what the new TrueSky engine can do. They are intrigued....
