    Hahnweide 2025

    Moin comrades,

    I was at the air show in Hahnweide, Germany, and wanted to share a few photos with you.
    They won't win the Pulitzer Prize, but they are nice memories.
    For me, the absolute highlight was the only Messerschmitt Bf-109 E4/N in the world capable of flying, which successfully completed its first flight in Hahnweide after many years of restoration.

    Thank you for these beautiful images.
    The diversity of World War II aircraft is remarkable.
    I didn't know about this airshow.

    The Bronco is parked about twenty kilometers from my house. Next year, I'll ask them for a back seat. I'll do the navigation!

    I have found a video about the first flight demonstration of the Messerschmitt Bf-109 E4/N "Rote 12" on 09.06.2025 airfield Lachen-Speyerdorf.

    Very impressive!

    I'm pleased to see that they really put that 109 E through some aerobatics and when it has flown by it really does have quite a throaty sound..atn TFS.
