What settings step by step fly Italian CR42

Hi,
try as I might, I struggle to see a CR42, so select G50, Italy, then fly then player plane and its got Luft crosses, unable to click germany and get Italy.
exit and try again, this time its got RAF markings. Unable to again click and alter to Italy.
Just what are the steps to get to fly a CR42 or a G50 or a BR20 ?
or at least have such in Italian markings?
4.312 by the way.
as cannot find 4.53 to install anymore. and dont want Harry Potter blue aura wrecking my realistic screen shots for my website, let alone shadows so dark I cant see the cockpit..

Hi BOBC,

Quick Missions have the aircraft locked to a certain side and country. So, if you select a 109 for 'London - Sightseeing', it will have RAF markings and you cannot change it.

If you want to fly any aircraft from any side I would recommend creating a multiplayer mission:
* Menu >> Extras >> FMB.
* Load a map.
* View >> Object Browser >> Change type to 'Spawn area'.
* Choose a location and press Ctrl+MouseLeft to place it.
* Go to the spawn area tab and change the following:
>> Army: Red (Allies)
>> Height: (choose an altitude)
>> Max Planes: (Minimum of 1)
>> Spawn Parked: <Spawn at airfield closest to Spawn Area>
>> Scramble: (Spawn at airfield but with engines on)
* Then create a new Spawn Area but for Blue (Axis).
You can load the mission by going Menu >> Multiplayer >> Local Server.

These are the steps for creating a singleplayer mission:
* Menu >> Extras >> FMB
* Load a map
* View >> Object Browser >> Type: 'Aircraft'
* Choose an aicraft.
* Choose a location and Ctrl+Click to create a waypoint.
* You can change properties of the air group (such as side and country) in the 'Group Properties' tab.
* Go to the 'Waypoints' tab and edit the altitude and speed.
* Go to the first tab of '#<x>' and select the 'Player' checkbox.
* You can create more waypoints.
* To play against other aircraft you can place other airgroups of the enemy team. If you want to bomb something, you can place some static objects on an airfield and create a waypoint for your bomber over it and select 'Attack - Area' or 'Attack - Target' (you have to set the target).

I would recommend looking at Yo-Yo's FMB Guide and the Mission Builder's Manual for a more in-depth set of instructions for mission-making.

Please note that there is currently a bug with the weathering. If you set it to 0% then it will instead be set to 50% in-game.


As for flying a CR.42, I think you need the CloD BLITZ Tobruk DLC to fly it, otherwise it is an AI-only aircraft.

An example mission where you escort BR.20Ms in a G.50. (This is a basic one and took me ~5 minutes to make.)

I think Ramble is also right, you need to have Tobruk DLC. Not sure your version does.

I did that and have been flying.
works in 4.312 ok.
I also moved the G50 south of the BR20 for some pics with it in foreground and made BR20 1080M for a closer view.
Is it possible to also be in a BR20 ?
I would like views with BR20 in foreground easier than zoom out then move about, with it skitting all over the place with mouse movements needing to be mega careful.

I also wish the G50's stayed with the bombers, properties say escort but they nose dive and go round in circles not lon after flight starts !

The BR20 is flyable in Blitz, maybe not in older unsupported version you prefer.

To learn the Full Mission Builder you may need to invest some time learning more by exploring the FMB forum here. There is no free ride. It's not hard, but to address your highly specific requests you need to (and can) up your mission design game. Here is a link to get you started.
