    Hi all

    Have created a version of the Luftwaffe and RAF REDUX campaigns by myself, Bolox and Gabuzomeu, to take advantage of TF Mod features:

    This special Luftwaffe TF MOD brings you the JG53 Operation Sealion jabo campaign, with a TF mod twist:

    - start your campaign as wingman to ace Hans Karl Mayer, and progress to leading your own wingmen



    - optimised framerates in the TF MOD allow additional ground and air action



    - even though it's a jabo campaign, multiple high altitude missions included to make the most of the new FMs





    - Flowers Class corvette now allows British Home fleet vs Kriegsmarine engagements



    - Start your campaign in a factory fresh Bf109E4B, and watch it weather as the campaign progresses



    - Finish it as staffel kommandeur for a staffel of Bf109E4Ns bound for the Eastern Front...

    Although I have to warn you, a Seelowe/Sealion campaign may need some revisions after future releases and work by guys like V@s'OK....

    HMS Nelson or Rodney if I'm not mistaken? Bring it on! Slow, fat and apt to fall over if she actually fired a broadside, but the Luftwaffe had little in the way of torpedos in 1940. Still, would love to see what a brace of He115s with the LTF5 torpedo could do to her...

    A suicide mission, but I'd love to try it!

    It's excellent Heinkill! I just finished the second sorte where we take the Jabo's to Folkestone. Amazing flying with all those bomber groups.

    I did albeit wounded. You really put allot of thought into these as each one is different and detailed. Here's another screen shot from 9k meters in the next mission defending Bomber groups.

    I've been flying and really enjoying the Luftwaffe Redux campaign! However, in the readme, it was stated that wingman or group commands could be made functional by flying to the first waypoint on autopilot, then switching autopilot off and opening radio comms. I have this set to "Tab", and I can indeed get the "wingman" option to turn red. After that, selecting "wingman", I can't open any further commands. Clicking the option for "wingman" brings up either a red label called either "wingman", or "*wingman" (with asterisk). Selecting either one goes no further, still can't generate any commands. Anything else I can do?

    Hi, glad you are enjoying it. The workaround is unfortunately not a fix, the commands system still sux. The workaround seems to work for me about 50pc of the time to get the wingmen or staffel to attack the enemy or come to my aid. I wait until the enemy is in visual range, padlock them, then issue the attack my target command.

    Remember it won't work at all in early missions though, because you don't have a wingman! That might be the problem? You yourself are the wingman, or katschmarek, so you don't have your own wingman to command. You can call for help though, I think, and if they are in range your comrades may help.

    Later in the campaign as you progress, you are given command of first a schwarm, and then a staffel. Once this happens, you can issue commands.

    Thanks for your reply. No, even when I have a wingman or schwarm, I still can't get commands to work. I haven't tried actually padlocking the target, though. That may be the problem. Main problem, of course, is the screwed up command system in the original program. Hopefully someone much smarter than I can tweak a fix. It would sure make a big difference.

    just started playing this campaign too, i've got to say it is the dogs balls! it is so well written and exciting. just played to the 3rd mission, can't wait to carry on. Thanks to Heinkill for the re-doing of it. I've always held off getting the deastersoft mission available for cliffs of dover but if they are as good as this!!!!!. One issue is that my pc struggled with mission 2, lots of ships and planes, maybe i could turn down the setting a bit. cheers heinkill.

    However I have two questions
    1) On mission three for the RAF Campaign, I just sit there on the runway waiting for
    the order to take off, even after a flight of three He 111 show up and is reported. I sat
    on the runway for 45 minutes and nothing is happening. No orders for take off.
    How long do I have to sit on the runway?
    2) I have the German Sealion install also. How can I switch from the RAF Campaign to the
    German Sealion Campaign?

    Thank You for your hard work and redoing the original BOB Campaign.

    Thank You for your hard work and redoing the original BOB Campaign.
    I just wait for the guy in front of me to take off, count to 5, and away I go. The AI planes seem to accelerate faster, so no problem with running up behind one.

    Simplest way is described in Heinkill's readme- briefly engage autopilot before takeoff (when you hear rest of squad call in)
    This should get you a takeoff clearance message. Disengage autopilot and proceed as normal.

    Otherwise, in all cases where you ARE NOT Squad Leader, the just ignoring traffic control and taking off is possible, as long as you don't engage AP for rest of mission- if you do results can be unpredictable.

    If you are Squad leader then the most consistent results are obtained by using autopilot to take off until ~1st waypoint. Otherwise rest of squad will ignore you for rest of mission.

    This is all a known (and extremely irritating) bug in CoD, but for now at least, just get used to using these 'workarounds'

    It would be really nice if somehow this could get fixed in one of the updates, and for landings as well. Does no good to request landing clearance, get denied every time. What TF is doing for this sim is beautiful and incredible, not sure if this would even fit in with their scheme of things, but would be nice for us single players...

    Hey heinkill,

    Question for you - I have the RAF REDUX Campaign, and can not remember exactly when I installed it, has been a while.
    Above you state a version has been created to take advantage of TF Mod features - is this possibly a different version than what I have installed, if so is there a way I can tell?

    TF mod version is slightly different. Easy way to tell is the screen on display when you select campaign from list in game


    If its a TF version there will be the "for TF mod" text to the right of title (as in pic). If 'standard' version there will be no text.
    Ut's a protocol I follow with my campaigns also, putting the version of game required here seems to be a good idea

    I checked and mine does not have " For TF" in the text.
    So what would be best way for me to get that version, just install over what I have now?

    Hmm, can't remember where exactly to point the installer to, it defaults just to " my documents"...
    There is mention of an extensive read me file, but I do not see any readme in this download?

    Edit: never mind, think I found out in the Lutwaffe REDUX campaign information on that website...

    Edit2: Yes,it worked just fine, in fact I went ahead and installed both the RAF and Lutwaffe REDUX for TF Mod campaigns. I am going to go ahead and fly the RAF one all over again ( had completed the original couple weeks or so ago), heck I may even then fly the Lutwaffe one - although I have never flown for the blue side, and flying a german fighter against RAF fighters would seem pretty strange on my end...
    Really looking forward to these, thanks for all involved!!!

    U R welcome on behalf of all the team.

    The YF mod version includes high altitude missions, 100 Octane fighters like the 109E4n and new ship variants like the corvette. The higher fps enabled more moving ground objects to be included.

    Yes indeed, I am now on mission 5 or 6, and have already been in the nosebleed section at least couple of times - looking great! I love the campaign and really like the scripting showing the tally of squadron kills, my kills, etc... really nice touch!

    I am loving this RAF REDUX campaign, having a blast! - but it is kicking my butt on mission 17!
    First nighttime mission, got to find a bomber and knock it down.
    Heck, I even have the map on, see them on the map, but it is so dark out there, I cannot even make out a silhouette. I try to find based on the info I am given as far as height and location as well, so far no luck - going to keep trying...

    Hmm, since there is no gamma correction in the sim, maybe I should adjust gamma somewhere in the graphics drivers?
