His stuff has always been outstanding.
Would love to see him do some more with the British birds though.
Cpt Farrel's skins are already in TF 3.0.
Unfortunately, there's not much you can do to a Spitfire or Hurricane to make them look pretty; unless you let Germans re-design them.

His skins have been a staple for years. I don't know how many I have downloaded over the years.
I'm glad they are part of the mod.

Cpt Farrel's site has been gone for over 18 months.

Even the Internet Archive is no help due to his robot.txt settings while his site was working.

I haven't heard or seen from him in a long time.. These appear to work though! http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads2&file=search&sa=206
Edit: I guess those are all for IL246.. Bummer!!

"The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself". - Archibald Macleish
Unfortunately we only have the earlier version of his skins. He did not upload any of his CLoD skins and exclusively uploaded any updated skins and new skins to his site.
Hopefully his disappearance is strictly related to him moving on to other things that interest him more now.

There are a number of cpt. Farrel's skins at the Asisbiz site (run by ATAG forum member Acred).
Skin example:

COD-CF-Bf-109E4-Stab-JG26-(Adolf-Galland-France-Sep-1940-V0A.jpg
Here are a couple of examples of the pages under the heading III Gruppe Jagdgeschwader 3 and Jagdgeschwader 26:
Site page example 1.

Site page example 2.
https://www.asisbiz.com/il2/Bf-109E/JG26-Stab.html
The above are from the following list. You need to click on each group one at a time in order to open a new page with more skins:
List of pages/headings:
https://www.asisbiz.com/Bf-109E.html
Note: There aren't skins under every heading/page, and I haven't checked all of the pages to see how many skins there are. The skins are mixed, made by various skinners, not least by Acred himself (the latter mostly unsigned).
Cpt. Farrel's skins have a rectangular black/metallic plaque bearing his name on the right hand side.

Thanks for that information setback it should help several people find a "new" skin of his they like or an old one that they liked at one point.
Unfortunately for me the "Pale Moon" browser I am using does not like that site. So far when using the Pale Moon browser it is the only website that I have run across with the https extension giving me connection troubles. Remove the s and I can see the site but the images won't show because all of them have the https extension now.

Hopefully someone will take the time to download all of the Cpt. Farrel skins from Acred's site, and upload them again here at ATAG (in the downloads section)..
Also, there must be gamers around who have some of his skins in their skin folders. I hope they can share too. This thread would we a good place to post them, initially, if anyone is willing to contribute them.
We could collect them into one download zip.

I went through the following list of Bf110 skins. There are no Cpt. Farrel skins, but quite a few made by other skinner if anyone is interested:
Bf110 page at the Asisbiz site (links to the skins are written in green writing. Or click on the heading over each section to open the page):

I have it on good authority that he is alive and well.

Hi,
Going through Acred's site (a great resource BTW)- ive found a further 60 (30 if you exclude the blanks) of Capt Farrell's skins. Mainly E3s although there are some other nice E1s and E4s plus a further 2 or 3 Gallands.
A lot of the skins DO NOT carry a credit to Capt Farrell but clearly display his layout and the exact same weathering. There are no other credits.
Opinions of the wise required - because the images use many identical assets as a stamped Cpt Farrell Skin should i first restore the credit graphic. i would like to if you think its appropriate.
MP - once ive done sorting them, I can put them on my Cloud as a single download and send you a link as a payback for your share if you like.
Regards

It would probably be OK to label the zip/download as 'possible cpt. farrel skins' but I don't think it's a good idea to alter each skin itself by adding his logo onto the skin (if that's what you mean). Someone may have used one of his blank/generic skins as a basis for their own work, which may not be up to his high standard.
I know that in the past some people have used his skins, altered them slightly, and then taken full credit for them.
If there is no name on them then it would be safer to leave them that way (until the distant future when game sim archaeologists and gaming historians will sort it out).
If they are 'possibly' his then that is the way to present them.
Thanks very much for putting in the time to sort through the skins, they are an important resource for CoD players, and it's nice to have them collected together. And also good to have those skins here at ATAG in case Asisbiz ever closes.

Thanks Setback - hit the nail on the head!
The blanks however, can only be original to my mind because of the integration of the distinctive weathering. The variations are (more of less) clearly based upon blanks or edited versions but are still pretty well executed.
Its a shame i will not be able to add his credit even to the blanks (especially since i took on myself to add them BEFORE i thought to ask for advice - doh!! )
But at least ATAG is as solid a vault as one can hope for (no disrespect to Acrid). They will be uploaded in the next few days once ive taken the damn credits back off!!
If anyone else is reading this and thinking "oooo- i have some of those but i cant be bothered/dont know how to upload them - please pm me and ill do the donkeywork.

Do as you like regarding removal of his name on the skins, I'll leave it up to you. I was only making a suggestion.
Though there is something else to be aware of when comparing skins: Sometimes the weathering is taken from original templates (used as a top layer with reduced opacity), and then it will look the same on several skinner's work:

I am pretty sure when he created a skin he added his oblong name plate onto it. If his name isn't on it I presume as MS said it is most likely another skinner using his base markings and so not one of his. A bit like sitting in a gallery, photographing a piece of art, drawing a small logo on it and then posting it as your work. It looks the same except for one detail but wasn't done by the original artist?
I'd only say that those with the oblong nameplate are the genuine ones.

Hullo
Thanks Setback. Im familiar with the original weathering - none of the skins have it but all have the same distinctly different weathering seen on the skins provided by MP.
MP - many of the uncredited skins on Acred's site look very similar to many of yours but, on closer inspection, are missing subtle weathering to the markings. In other cases (fewer) the weathering is well done but the work uncredited. In others, the plate is there (as it would on a blank) but the insignia stands out like a socialist worker at Conservative conference. EDIT - I HAVE LEFT THESE OUT
So - im simply going to upload them as they are on Acred's site with a big Caveat Emptor along the lines of "these could be at least based upon" and leave it at that. NO IM NOT
EDIT - So ive done a comparison of the ones MP kindly made available and the ones on Acred's site.
There is no difference in the quality.
The same overlay of wear and grime that i think is the marker of Cpt Farrells work is present on all of the skins
Where there are commonalities in personal or Staffle insignia, the work is identical.
Every insignia is as sharp as a pin even at extreme levels of magnification.
I cannot think of a way in which the wear and weathering layer could have been replicated with such accuracy from one to another unless the Farrell's original layered template was available - as far as i know, it never was (at least not to the wider public)
The only difference is that of reference - MPs come from MP - a trusted source (I have taken it as a given all those skins came from Farrell's own site or another trusted source originally). The others come, uncredited, from an open source. Both sets however show sufficient similarity, in my mind at least, to justify putting Farrell's credit back on them. Ill still put on a caveat, but i think the inclusion of the credit plate is justified because, for me at least, it is the base paint and weathering that requires the greatest level of skill irrespective of the rest and should be acknowledged.
S! and respect

Any good links to Cpt Farrells skins? I may have lost mine in my pc rebuild ;(
They ones supplied to me by Mystic Puma are in the Downloads section on this site under the appropriate aircraft.
The ones I think are Cpt Farrell's work are also on this site's download page but labelled "possible" - see the above posts for how I compared the work.
